It was the warmest and sunniest day in Palanga so far. The wide range of activities regarding entrepreneurial training and social program made it even brighter. While visiting Kretinga – a Lithuanian town famous for its spectacular botanic garden and artistic sun clock, representing the main holidays of the Pagan and Christian calendar, the RECEIVE group had a chance to explore the present and past culture of the hosting country. The "Critical thinking“ group had a chance to explore the importance of ability to engage new people while trying to get the information required, establishing new contacts, which are necessary in terms of implementing effective entrepreneurial activities. People contacted appeared to be benevolent and willing to interact with the participants. After an exclusive lunch in the Botanic garden and afternoon workshop session the team returned to the guest house to continue the indoor workshop session. The “Critical thinking” group had a chance to take a numerical test, which helped them to analyze their strong and weak points, leading to opportunity for improvement in the future. The evening social program was splendid as usual. Sports activities (ball games, weird tennis) on a beach till the sunset, bonfires, swimming (strong guy J), intercultural communication both with lecturers and students, sharing the experience developed each participant from different – non formal angle.

Calendar with the stones
Yesterday we enjoyed the nice and warm weather in Kretinga. The museum was closed because of reconstruction, but the park was beautiful. The most interesting thing was that special kind of calendar with the stones which shows the important celebrations according to the state of the sun. In the afternoon we could lay on the grass and enjoy the sunshine. The Winter Garden was amazing with its many plants. It felt like being in a rain forest.
At the end of the day inspite of being tired, some of us had fun on the beach, watching the sunset, playing games, just for the sake of being together, after all this is the main point.
